Synaptol Review

Is Synaptol Right For You?

Synaptol is a homeopathic supplement promoted as temporarily alleviating symptoms associated with Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD) and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), such as difficulty reading, writing, concentrating and listening, impulsiveness, lack of organization, forgetfulness, and inattention. The company behind the product is HelloLife.

HelloLife is a US manufacturer of homeopathic and herbal remedies for a variety of health concerns like depression, anxiety, fatigue, allergies, arthritis and ADD/ADHD. Their facilities are state-of-the-art and operated under GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) standards. HelloLife distributes their products online, via retailers and healthcare specialists.

According to the producer, Synaptol is a natural homeopathic over the counter medicine that provides a gradual and safe approach to modulating symptoms associated with ADD/ADHD without the many potentially adverse effects of similar drugs found on the market. The formula addresses a wide array of symptoms given its relatively large number of active ingredients. The product is supposed to help adults as well as children two years of age or more. Nonetheless, the manufacturer states that to keep better in control your ADD/ADHD symptoms you should also improve your lifestyle by practicing sports, getting enough sleep, having a healthy diet and so on. In other words, HelloLife recommends a holistic approach.

There has been another manufacturer of Synaptol, but it stopped production of the drug for undisclosed reasons.

Ingredients of Synaptol

I’m 52 yrs old and found this product a few years back. It’s nothing short of a miracle for me. When I take Synaptol I feel normal. I can think and create and get projects finished. Something I’ve had trouble doing my whole life, which made me feel like a loser. And I was always judged by others for starting but never finishing things I’d started. My head is clear and I feel good. It’s safe and has no side effects. I don’t even need a full eyedropper to feel good. I’ve also been using Homeopathic remedies since I was 30. I would highly recommend this to anyone, specially parents whose children are on dangerous pharmaceuticals. Drugs are not the answer. Diet change also helps.

This article is bogus and misleading. There is no official designation such as as “FDA
A certified. There is FDA Approved but not certified.

      Hi Robert,

In the past Synaptol used to tout itself as FDA Certified (which actually does exist. The FDA certifies facilities much like the GMP). Now Synaptol claims only that its ingredients are from a homeopathic compendium that the FDA recognizes (HPUS). This doesn’t mean the FDA approves the ingredients as safe, only they recognize those ingredients as homeopathic (which means nothing).

The FDA actually has many layers of confusion coupled with its many layers of restriction. There is FDA approved (which is only available for synthetic drugs and medicines)
There is FDA certified (which applies to manufacturing facilities of foods and food grade products)
There is FDA recognized (usually this applies to class 2 medical equipment)
There is FDA registered (this is usually marketing buzz and often means little more than the company notified the FDA of their supplement)

Regardless of the term used its a moot point because the FDA doesn’t regulate dietary supplements, herbs, homeopathic medicines and several other health related products / areas. Furthermore, regulation does not mean they test or inspect facilities or products that are “FDA Approved”. Most prescription drugs have to perform and provide results of their own testing but there is little the FDA does on its own outside of reviewing claims that independent watchdog groups send to them.

We hope that clears up some confusion you might have had, but it all is merely fluff as the article has nothing to do with whether or not Synaptol is FDA certified.
