    My doctor mentioned taking pepsin (Pepto Bismol)with Hydroxyzine as an adjunct. How does this work + does this make sense? I am histamine sensitive. Thanks

    hydroxyzine pamoate sold under the trade name vistaril is used as a adjuvant in chronic pain treatment. it can be added on to a opioid analgesic to potentate the pain relief. it works for opioid induced nausea and vertigo also. it’s counterpart is promethazine or “phenergan” for the same reason.
