Concerta is a type of prescription medication most often prescribed to treat Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD) and Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorder (ADHD). The company behind this product is Alza Corporation, a pharmaceutical company with its headquarters in California, United States.

According to their website, Alza Corporation is “leading the next generation of drug delivery.” The manufacturer claims this drug works as a central nervous system stimulant. It is designed to fix chemicals in the brain and nerves that are responsible for impulse and hyperactivity control.

The producing company also claims that Concerta will improve the concentration and behavior of a child.

Ingredients of Concerta

Concerta includes the following ingredients: methylphenidate HC1 USP, Butylated hydroxytoluene, carnauba wax, cellulose acetate, hypromellose, lactose, phosphoric acid, poloxamer, polyethylene glycol, polyethylene oxides, povidone, propylene glycol, sodium chloride, stearic acid, succinic acid, synthetic iron oxides, titanium dioxide and triacetin.
